Joyland contains one Shakespeare reference, and it is to
Romeo And Juliet. The character Rozzie says: "I'm not talking about psychic sight, kiddo, I'm talking about ordinary woman-sight. You think I don't know a lovestruck Romeo when I see one?" (p. 104). This book was published in 2013.
