Shakespeare Reference in Angel Of Darkness

Yes, Shakespeare references continue to pop up in nearly every book I read. Dennis McDougal’s Angel Of Darkness, a book about convicted serial killer Randy Kraft, contains one reference. The reference is to Shakespeare himself, rather than one of his plays. McDougal writes, “After an hour of Twain or Shakespeare in the classroom, it was exhilarating to move out to the parade grounds and put the boys through their paces, instructing them in the bearing of arms, returning their snappy young salutes” (p. 66).

Angel Of Darkness was published in 1991. I read the paperback edition, published in May of 1992.
