Quotable Hollywood:
The Lowdown From America’s Film Capital was published in 2001.
This blog started out as Michael Doherty's Personal Library, containing reviews of books that normally don't get reviewed: basically adult and cult books. It was all just a bit of fun, you understand. But when I embarked on a three-year Shakespeare study, Shakespeare basically took over, which is a good thing.

Shakespeare References in Quotable Hollywood
George Sullivan’s book of quotations related to the film
business, Quotable Hollywood: The Lowdown
From America’s Film Capital, contains a couple of Shakespeare references.
The first is a chapter title, “What’s In A Name?” (p. 37), which of course is a
reference to Juliet’s line in Romeo And
Juliet. Juliet says: “What’s in a name? That which we call a rose/By any
other word would smell as sweet.” The second reference comes in a quoted line
from Walter Matthau, speaking about Barbra Streisand: “I’d love to work with
her again, in something appropriate. Perhaps Macbeth” (p. 78).
